Version numbering conventions (use decimal places to indicate work in progress):

• 0 = unchanged from DCRM(B)
• 1 = rough cut before the November 2008 meeting
• 2 = draft during and after Nov. 2008 meeting
• 3 = single-document draft after Jan. 2009 meeting in Denver
• 4 = single-document draft after July 2009 meeting in Chicago
• 5 = draft after comments from reviewers in December 2009
• 6 = draft after June 2010 meeting in DC
• 7 = draft in progress after January 2011 meeting in San Diego
• 8 = draft in progress as of March 15, 2012

• Conventions:
• all endnotes are for internal tracking purposes only, and can be ignored (they're used to note sources of examples and headings for cross-references); footnotes "real" though
• examples prefaced by [B] and [GM] have been brought over from DCRM(B) and Graphic Materials, respectively, and need to be removed, replaced, or verified. Examples without such prefaces are approved for use in DCRM(G), i.e., they've either been verified as real examples of pictures or as sufficiently generic that a real-life example is not needed (e.g. statements of extent and similar non-transcribed elements)
