Nov. 2007 thru June 2008: preliminary comparison of DCRM(B) and Graphic Materials

July 1, 2008: ALA Annual in Anaheim, first meeting of the entire team

July thru Oct. 2008: draft version 1 in preparation for meeting in Washington

Nov. 9, 10, & 11, 2008: 3-day meeting in Washington to work on version 2

Nov. thru early Jan. 2008: draft version 2, ready for discussion at Midwinter

Jan. 27 & 28, 2009: ALA Midwinter, Denver, 2-day meeting, incl. focus on Area 4 and App. B.

Feb. 28, 2009: drafts based on outcomes of Denver meeting due to Erin, who will turn them into a single document ("version 3")

March 20, 2009: Erin will make draft of version 3 and draft agenda for conference call available

March 27, 2009: confererence call, 2pm EDT, being arranged by Mary Mundy

July 13-14, 2009: ALA Annual in Chicago, afterrnoon of the 13th, all day on the 14th: discuss version 3 and turn it into version 4

July thru November. 2009: draft version 4 based on outcomes of Chicago meeting

Late Nov. 2009: version 4 to Bib Standards Committee for review; comments due late Dec.

Early Jan. 2009: gather BSC comments in preparation for discussion in Boston

Jan. 15-20, 2010: ALA Midwinter in Boston, exact date of our meeting unknown: review comments; prepare version 5 for public comment

Feb. and Mar. 2010: public comment period

Apr. and May 2010: review public comments and draft version 6

June 24-30, 2010: ALA Annual in Washington, DC, exact date of our meeting unknown: review version 6 and any remaining problems

Aug. thru Oct. 2010: proofing and indexing to turn version 6 into version 7

Nov. and Dec. 2010: seek final CPSO and CC:DA approval of version 7

Jan. 2011: ALA Midwinter in San Diego, anticipate celebrating because it is with the printer

Meeting schedule

The editors will meet several times a year: at ALA Annual, ALA Midwinter, and at additional meetings in between (schedule will vary depending on the editing stage).
